Unlike anything before, Dave Lombardo has unveiled an extraordinary visual and audio experience with the release of LOMBARDO. Inside the book, readers get a comprehensive look at Dave Lombardo’s artwork built from rhythm. Simultaneously on vinyl, readers hear Lombardo’s drum interpretations for each art piece within the book.
Only 300 sets are available in the First Edition release. Each book is individually signed by Dave Lombardo. All copies of the first edition are numbered and feature an authenticity stamp and a COA (Certificate of Authenticity).
FIRST EDITION BOOK:
LOMBARDO gives readers an inside look into the rhythm artwork of Dave Lombardo. Like a painter using brushes with oils of different colors, Lombardo utilized a wide array of electrified drumsticks to build rhythms that visually showcased his own style and desired abstract visuals onto canvas. Featuring a wealth of photographs of Dave in studio, as well as a brief on his musical legacy, this hardbound book provides an inside look into the creation of “RHYTHM MYSTERIUM”, Lombardo’s historic art debut collection.
VINYL PICTURE DISC:
A vinyl picture disc created by drum performances by Dave Lombardo.The drumming interprets and scores the rhythm art in his collection. The vinyl features Dave’s rhythm artwork on both sides.
Only 300 books are available in the First Edition and all include the vinyl picture disc. Each book is individually hand stamped with the First Edition notation, then hand numbered and signed by Dave Lombardo.

Drummer Dave Lombardo began the creation of Rhythm Mysterium in early 2014. To execute the project, Lombardo worked with art team SceneFour in Los Angeles, California.
